25 Feb Chocolate Protein Coffee Recipe
This has become one of my daily rituals that I look forward to A TON. In fact, I typically have one cup mid-morning and one mid-afternoon because 1. it’s delicious and 2. it serves as a great pick me up. The final product is rich and creamy, with just a hint of froth. It is also a pretty customizable recipe. I use flaxmilk, but any milk will work. I also use chocolate protein powder but again, I think you could throw just about any flavor in here and it would still be amazing. For the coffee, I alternate between using regular coffee and hazelnut flavored coffee. With my coffee maker, I have the option to make an XL single cup of coffee so that’s what I do for this recipe. I’d recommend making the largest single serve option available to you, or if you’re going to make a smaller cup, scale the other ingredients back.
For reference, here are links to the exact products I use:
- 1/3 cup milk of your choosing
- 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter powder
- 1-2 scoops of chocolate protein powder (depending on how much protein you’re hoping to get in for the day)
- 1 XL cup of coffee
Directions: Prepare your cup of coffee. Add it, along with the rest of the ingredients, into a blender and blend until everything looks thoroughly combined (it usually takes less than a minute). Pour into a gigantic coffee cup and enjoy!
